On Saturday 31 May, the first edition of Kunstkoers will take place: an artistic tour along three progressive exhibition spaces in Nijmegen. During this afternoon, visitors will walk or cycle, and follow a mapped-out route from POST, via RUIS, to Expo Bart. The Kunstkoers is an invitation to discover the current, experimental and critical art on show in the city. by walking or cycling through the Nijmegen landscape.
Kunstkoers is a joint initiative of three critical art spaces in Nijmegen: POST, RUIS and Expo Bart. The route, suitable for walkers and cyclists, connects these places both physically and in terms of content, with art used a guideline. Visitors start at their choice of time between 12:00 and 17:00 at POST in the Paraplufabriek, where they will receive their stamp card. They then walk or cycle at their own pace to RUIS, located in the Nieuwe Honigcomplex, and end at Expo Bart on the NYMA site. Each location surprises you in its own way. For example, you can enter POST for free during this event, you will receive a folder with information about the exhibition at RUIS and you will receive a memory game with all the art exhibited so far at Expo Bart.
