About Networks of Precarity
What does the future of technology hold in a world that is becoming increasingly unstable? How can we remain mindful of the everyday vulnerability that arises when the pursuit of technological progress takes centre stage? It is through these questions that the exhibition Networks of Precarity examines our current technopolitical landscape.
In the prevailing narrative, innovations – with artificial intelligence at the forefront – are presented as futuristic, solution-oriented and inevitable. We are promised a future of progress that is at odds with the friction arising from our use of digital technologies.
Networks of Precarity focuses on the human dimension, bottom-up initiatives and magical traditions in our relationship with technology.
