She has co-initiated initiatives such as the CounterArchive Collective, the Unpacking Infrastructurecuratorial exchange for the 16th Sharjah Biennial, and the Thinking Ecologically seminar series at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. Her curatorial work includes projects with Hartwig Art Foundation, Framer Framed, National Visual Art Gallery Malaysia, the National Art Center Tokyo and the Mori Art Museum. Anouk van Amsterdam is a project manager and art historian specialized in performance art, queer theory, and future ecologies. Before joining Buro Stedelijk, she worked at the Stedelijk Museum, where she organized public programs at the intersection of art, research, and public engagement. Previously, she coordinated Rietveld Uncut at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and worked as a board assistant at the Nieuwe Instituut. With a background in contemporary art history, her work connects theory and creative production, driven by a strong interest in political philosophy and cultural criticism.
