The Reading Assembly on Palestine is a series of close reading sessions. During these sessions, we will collectively read fiction and poetry in order to explore Palestinian literature and the ways in which living under genocide, apartheid and occupation is reflected within these literary productions.
During the first assembly on April 23 of February we will be reading excerpts from the publication Reworlding Ramallah: Short Science Fiction Stories from Palestine (2024), edited by Callum Copley.
The following sessions (TBA) will be open to literary proposals from participants, as a means of disseminating and sharing knowledge on Palestine through collective reading. Together, we reflect on how to continue learning, teaching, and assembling around Palestine.
