POST is more than just a venue for exhibitions: it is a place where art is the starting point for conversations, interactions and connections. As the only place in the region of Arnhem/Nijmegen on this scale, POST has been a unique venue for 30 years, bringing people together and opening up new perspectives through contemporary art.
From its roots in the Paraplufabriek, an old squat with a strong sense of community, POST has always been driven by the power of activism and collectivism. Still we recognise that POST is not playing solo. We are looking for people who want to help us build a permanent community: people like you.

What do we want to achieve and how does your contribution help us do that?
We would like to make our programme of exhibitions, lectures and workshops even more accessible. This means, among other things:
- Improve sharing of information, so that visitors feel truly connected to what there is to see and experience. Think of clear texts, contextual depth and attendants who are trained to have inspiring conversations with visitors.
- Professionalisation and expansion of our public programmes by inviting renowned speakers of national and international standing.
- Hybrid programming, so that lectures and discussions can also be followed online and we can reach a wider audience.
- Improved accessibility of our buildings, so that everyone feels welcome and safe, regardless of physical abilities.
