POST
Sounds is a public program by POST, in which we reflect on artworks through songs and stories. Join us in our first real life gathering on the 8th of July from 20:00 to 21:30 in the Nijmegen exhibition space to share music that When Stones Awake reminds you of. It can be a song that reminds you of one of the artworks or captures a feeling that reflects the main theme: remembering trough monuments.
Songs mean different things to different people. They form an integral part of human life and are connected to memories, emotions, places and faces. Everyone, regardless of age, culture and upbringing, relates to lyrics, sounds and rhythms in a unique way. In talking about this, you share your personal experiences ánd meet new people.
This event will be held in English and there is a maximum number of 6 participants. So register soon, through gerda@platformpost.nl. During this event we keep 1,5 meter distance. Participants are asked to visit the exhibition before joining the event, and choose (a part of) any song or lyrics that resonate with one of the artworks or the exhibition's theme.
