We are glad to invite you to join the first opening of Not Just a Library!
Not Just a Library is an art zine library, but it is not only a library. It is a space for gatherings, showcasing artistic and experimental manners of publishing practices and printed matters. This space intends to expand the boundaries of the library outside the generally accepted definition that refers to the library functioning to collect, read, discuss and sell books. We set out to create a space that incentivises alternative ways for reading, looking and narrating.
The opening will take place on 16th of December, from 16:00- 20:00, at @platform_post (Driekoningenstraat 16, Arnhem, NL).
During this time we propose the following program:
16:00 Welcome and check-in
16:30 - 17:00 Not Just a Collective in conversation with P-OST
17:00 - 18:00 Not Just a Collective with several selected publishers/makers/artists. The conversation will elaborate on the topic “We stay in the margins, we keep printing”.
18:00 - 20:00 Explore the library and chill with some food and drinks
