POST Arnhem is moving!
We are pleased to announce that POST Arnhem will be moving to a new location. Since 2020, POST has organised thirteen exhibitions and dozens of public programs at its location on Driekoningenstraat in Arnhem. From January 2025, POST will be located at the Weverstraat 40, starting a new chapter in Arnhem.
Are you an art enthusiast or a foodie? Then you are probably already familiar with this location due to Collection de Groen and Konijnenvoer. With Konijnenvoer as a roomie, POST continues its programs in the exhibition spaces on the ground floor. The exhibition Bearing Witness, curated by Laura Mudde, opens on 24 January, 2025 at 20:00. This exhibition brings together work by artists from (post-)conflict areas with stories of Dutch veterans. These narratives and works convey the lived experience of life during and after war. At a time of increasing conflict, what does it mean now to face these experiences? How do we bear witness, even when it is uncomfortable? Our first exhibition on Weverstraat opens during Arnhem Uitnacht (Museum Night).
The current exhibition at POST in Arnhem, Inventory of a rented house by Caz Egelie, is on view until December 15th. For this exhibition, the artist dove into the archives to learn more about the building’s history. It could not have been a better goodbye. Egelie is curious what one would find about this place 30 years in the future in the archives. In any case, we look back on our part of this history with joy.
We would like to thank all parties who helped and supported us to make this possible.
We cannot wait to welcome you on 24 January, 2025.
See you there?
Kind regards,
Team POST
