POST receives a grant from Mondriaan Fund
POST will receive € 220,000 from the Mondriaan Fund for its program of 2024 and 2025. In 2024, the Mondriaan Fund will contribute to programs of 31 art venues for contemporary visual art. These art organisations receive a grant for their inspiring programs for one to a maximum of four years. According to the Mondriaan Fund committee, our Practices, Structures and Beings programme makes a versatile contribution to the discourse and development of fine art.
According to the committee: “The connection between the artistic principles of POST and the way in which these are carried out in recent activities is regarded by the committee as more than sufficient. In the opinion of the committee, POST's vision is clear and well thought out. The organisation is on a course based on experiment and engagement, bringing artistic quality and depth. In a short time, POST has proven itself with exhibitions that are well received by the press and the public.”
The Mondriaan Fund has been contributing to art platform programmes since 1994 because they are vital for the development and visibility of visual art. Although sometimes limited in scope, these are the locations where new trends emerge and are given space; where growth and innovation develop. This is why they form the basis of the visual arts field and are indispensable for a healthy art ecosystem. Museums, artists and the public reap the benefits. A condition for culture subsidies from the government is that recipients subscribe to the Fair Practice Code, as well as the Governance Culture Code and the Diversity & Inclusion Code.

We also congratulate our fellow organisations that have been awarded funding and would also like to express our support to those who do not (currently) receive funding. In addition to support from the Mondriaan Fund, POST also receives funding from the City of Arnhem, the City of Nijmegen, the Province of Gelderland, the Stokroos Foundation and the Cultuur Fonds.
