On Saturday 26 October, our bookkeeper Angela Theunissen passed away.

For twenty-two years she was in charge of our finances and was always a sincere and reliable support to colleagues and board. This role seemed to her, as she herself wrote not long ago, the most meaningful contribution from her position. Angela did not do this job because of the bookkeeping itself. Furthermore, within the organisation she liked to watch from a distance. But inside, she was closely involved and did not want to let go of the Plu/POST:  

‘Because it's for this initiative, which I care for because of the content of what we did, the freedom we did it with, and not least the people with whom we did it.’

Early this year, Angela announced that she would retire next year. While we were preparing for this, she was told in the summer that she was ill and had to leave her job at POST with immediate effect.

We will miss her, the beautiful quiet smile in the background.
