End the violence in Gaza
We urge our government to condemn the Israeli attacks on innocent civilians in Gaza and to voice their solidarity with the Palestinians. POST organises exhibitions and other programmes where untold stories are told, where unheard voices are amplified. Colonisation, dispossession, extractivism and oppression are an intricate part of these stories. We condemn all forms of colonialism, from Palestine to Ukraine, to Nagorno-Karabakh and beyond. We cannot stay silent now during these horrendous attacks, and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Also, we want to support the Jewish community and reject every form of antisemitism. Furthermore, we like to emphasise that it should not be controversial to call for the end of this violence. We urge everyone to amplify the voices of those at risk, to get informed on how to share important accounts bypassing Instagram’s shadowbans, to join public demonstrations if possible, and to donate to emergency relief funds.
No one is free until we are all free.
This Friday during the opening of Symbiosis Series at POST Arnhem, we’ll set up a donation campaign for the PCRF, which is a non-profit humanitarian organisation providing medical relief to children in the Middle East. They are currently mobilising their resources to address the immediate needs of Gaza’s population. Find more information at the PCRF website.
